Brief Synopsis: Private detective Alan takes a dark turn, kidnapping a child and demanding a ransom that plunges Julie and her partner Dennis into turmoil. Dennis, a reformed criminal with a shadowy past, has fought to leave his old life behind. But as the stakes rise, he is confronted by Death, a haunting embodiment of his inner demons. To secure the future he dreams of, Dennis must reconcile with the sins of his past.
