Alesia Glidewell, also known as Z, is a Director/Creator with Asian, Latin and European roots who had an international and urban upbringing. After studying Cultural Anthropology at Emory University and Audio Production at the University of Washington, she found her way back to her original love: filmmaking. Glidewell was honored to be selected as a Sony Pictures Television Diverse Director’s Fellow, a VR SH//FT Scholar, a Stephen Curry & Storm Reid B-Amazing Filmmaker, and a recipient of the Superlounge Diversity Award for Commercial Directing. She was a segment director for the Disney + Docu-Series “Disney Insider” and has lead ship creatively on several indie features and New Media series. Her second feature film as a director, a biopic about the life of Nicole Paultre-Bell, the fiancee of Sean Bell, an unarmed 23 year old African American who was shot down in a hail of 50 bullets by undercover police officers in Queens, NY in 2006 will be releasing in 2024

A proud native of Chicago’s south side, and Howard University alum, Nina has
established a career as a creative producer, post-supervisor and production manager.
With over 12 years of experience, she has managed and overseen a wide variety of
productions, including: high profile gallery shoots, unscripted docu-series, and
multi-million dollar marketing campaigns at Epix, YouTube, and Apple TV+. She has
a demonstrated history of being the logistical arm during creative conception, and
was honored to join the Demo-Lition team to produce her first narrative short. Nina
currently works on the Campaign Management team for Original Scripted Series at
Apple TV+ in Los Angeles.
