Director Statement

This project began with me and the writer, Nick Johnson wanting to finally collaborate on a project together. We threw ideas back and forth and settled on making a thriller script that was around 10 pages...but we had no prompt. What was the story going to be about? Then one day we were talking as I was getting groceries and I walked past the cheeseball isle and told Nick his ONLY prompt for the script is the word "cheeseball." By the end of the week Nick had a first draft and then we built it up from there! It was challenging making a movie that takes place entirely in one room, but we welcomed the opportunity and I could not have had a better cast/crew bring this to life.
